Berva Pub is not just a pub, but a local ambassador of culture and high-quality spirits. The venue is unique in that it also hosts a motor museum, and twice a year, it organizes the sold-out Whisky Show, where guests can explore some of the world's finest whisky, gin, rum, agave, and other types of alcohol.

Previously, guests at the Whisky Show received a thick, nearly 160-page printed booklet containing tasting notes, distillery stories, and professional descriptions. The client aimed for sustainability and modernization: replacing high printing costs and paper usage with a custom-developed, responsive, fast digital solution. This approach preserves the elegant atmosphere of the event and offers a premium brand experience to visitors.

Digital Tasting Notes

The content of the 160-page physical book was transferred into a structured, searchable database. Guests can find the history and professional notes of each drink within seconds using categories (whisky, gin, rum, agave, pálinka) or a free-text search.

Immersive Design and Premium Website Development

The website’s visual design and typography reflect the "lofty Scottish lifestyle" experience. Fonts and imagery are informative while creating the exclusive experience previously represented by the premium printed materials.

Mobile-First, Responsive Website

Since the website is accessed on handheld devices during the event, a Mobile First approach was central to the development. Special attention was given to image optimization and loading speed, ensuring the user experience is smooth despite rich visual content.

CMS Integration

The system was built with a content management system (CMS), allowing the client to independently update the drink menu and tasting lists while keeping the website user-friendly.
